Aleksandra Went

(born 1976 in Gdansk, Poland). Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland, graduated with honors in 2003, in prof. Slawoj Ostrowski. Together with Alice Ka rski, the second prize at the 14th Film-Video Competition, IFHP t he 48th World Congress in Oslo, Norway (2004), third place in the competition Minutek The One (2006), the MAP grant permits in XXL in Žilina (2006) . Photographer, author of the video, installations and performance art. In their individual realizations focuses primarily on issues of memory and presence, as well as interpersonal interaction and the formation of their privacy / intimacy with universal properties.
